Left Singapore early in the morning to beat the comgestion at both the customs as it is going to be another long weekend.
The team members are Big Ah Um, KaiMaKlein, MamaKlein and BabyKlein.

Yes, Ipoh but not the place we need to go yet.
Surroundings of Ipoh..
That very night, we were all invited for dinner at the groom's house.
It was a rather unique dinner.
The family have asked the hawker seller to actually bring all the stuff to the front pouch and allow the guest to take whatever they wants.. All the good food can be found here.
This is "Lok Lok". Everything is so tasty even without the sauce.
Then the satay and the 'soon kway'..
The filling is definitely there.
There were still many types of good food but the photographer was too busy enjoying herself (who else, it was MamaKlein).
This is my Big Ku Ku (Chris)..
We stayed at Syen Hotel.
Look at our bedroom and the surroundings....
The next morning, Grand Auntie came by and be our tour guide.
Our first stop, the Sam Poh Tong.. MamaKlein was her more than 25 years ago and she is back again, this time, with BabyKlein.
The surroundings
Our next stop, at a shop selling pamelo, which is within walking distant.
and the after effect.. 34 pamelos in total
Moving on was a 20 minutes drive, at Ji Le Dong 极了洞
Some carvings at Ji Le Dong
Nest stop was about 30 minutes drive into the so-called main town and is practically everyone's fav, cos it is FOOD time!!!
Beancurd session along the roadside.
We were here last December.
And we ordered the famous Salted Chicken, which was fully depleted when we arrived back into our hotel room.

Klein dressed and went along with Por Por and MamaKlein for the wedding dinner but was sent back to the room as he refused to eat there. Changing into his casual clothings.
In the morning, KaiMa spent about RM50 and got some PETAI factory workers for immediate production.
The start of another journey, the FOOD PARADISE..
Went around the area and found lotus fruit (yes!! it is edible).
Had some local fruits for digestion while deciding whereis our next destination.

On our way back to the house to pick up extra clothings for our trip to a waterfall, Grad AUntie saw this old woman selling bean curd. Immediately stopped the cars and stopped for food session. The taste was great and the bean curd was really smooth. (Reminds MamaKlein of her 三姨婆)

After about an hour, we arrived at Lata Kinjang.
This waterfall is visible while travelling along the highway.
We left the waterfall and travelled for about an hour. Arrived at this famous claypot rice shop. Was told that we have to wait 45 minutes. After discussion, we decided to give this shop a miss as we were so busy HUNTING for other good food stuff.

We went to this Bah Kut Teh stall, which is along the roadside. Grand Auntie says it is one of the good ones around. True enough, the taste was superb. Simple looking but the taste was so great.
This might be the lure to MamaKlein's next trip to Ipoh.

We went back to the same restaurant and attacked the good food again.

Had local breakfast, which was about 20 minutes drive from where we stayed, before heading for home and saying bye bye to this trip.
